I am lucky enough to have had this magical spot basically in my backyard as a teenager. Cradle Mountain in Tasmania is breathtaking whether you see it covered in snow, in a howling storm, hot and dry in the summer or like shown above; overcast and perfectly still, but this moment was one of my favourites. We sat on the edge of this lake barely daring to talk above a whisper for fear of ruining the serenity. This was just weeks before moving away from my beautiful island home to The Netherlands and I still reflect on how grounded and peaceful my life felt at that moment – this must be the greatest magic of a beautiful landscape.
This is my entry to LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE CONTEST WEEK #034 by @axeman, thank you!
